This website’s a perfect example, once we’d put it together we started to analyze visitor behavior and found out some interesting facts. Only 9% of visitors to the homepage scrolled down.
Clearly although we found the content compelling our visitors didn’t. We rewrote it immediately and the new more compelling content now encouraged 28% of visitors to scroll down and read more of what we had to say – a significant improvement.
It was only by going and analyzing every little detail were we able to get where we are today.
Without Analytics this website would look completely different, not only do we achieve our goals but we also provide a richer more meaningful experience for our visitors. The two kind of go hand in hand – it has to be a win win situation to work.
Analytics is a program from Google that produces an astonishing amount of data about visitors to your website.
To start with it shows exactly what happens to those clicks we send your way. Which pages do they visit? For how long? Exactly where do the originate from? Do they buy? Do they fill out a contact form? Where do they click on your page?
